Project Details

Christian resources in Zambia and Zimbabwe are very limited and there is almost no regular teaching or preaching available, so the local Baptist church is struggling. To address this significant need, Global Consultant Roger Kemp and others have come up with training programs for church leaders in areas of our ongoing relationships - Honde Valley and Bulawayo (Zimbabwe), and Fiwale Hill and Kabwe (Zambia) so that we can once again see the local church thrive.

For 2019 - 2020, Roger will specifically focus on teaching local village people a basic curriculum so they can teach in their home churches. The most effective way of doing this is through training retreats. Roger hopes to run an annual retreat in both Kabwe and Fiwale Hill (Zambia) as well as two teaching sessions per year in Zimbabwe. 

Your involvement in this project will see our brothers and sisters in Christ in Zambia and Zimbabwe be supported practically and trained in teaching, to enable them to lead the local churches, see communities come to know Christ and grow in their knowledge and love for the Lord.
