Project Details
Since 2008 Hellenic Ministries has been distributing New Testaments in modern Greek to every home in rural Greece. In the northern summer of 2023 the goal will be completed with over 1.5 million New Testaments delivered throughout the country.
Greece is a nation where most people participate in church traditions, but few have access to God's Word in their own vernacular and miss the opportunity to experience a transformed life through a relationship with Jesus. The vision of Hellenic Ministries is to see the nation of Greece transformed into a people who seek God's heart and serving Him wholeheartedly. Giving evryone access to the lifegiving Word of God is one step towards this goal.
In July 2023 volunteers will hand deliver approximately 150,000 - 180,000 New Testaments to towns and villages in the regions of Fthioda, Viotia and Attica in Central Greece. Each $4 gift will cover the cost of one New Testament. A gift of $250 will provide sponsorship for a local Greek person to take part in this outreach project.
