Children’s Homes in Indonesia are a mix of orphans and children from poor families where parents are unable to feed, cloth or pay for the children’s education.
Ongoing funding is needed to pay for everyday necessities such as food, education, toiletries and medical costs Indonesia is the world’s fourth most populous country, home to some 270 million people.
Widespread poverty, political instability and regional separatism hinder Indonesia’s development. Poverty forces millions of Indonesian families to place their children into children’s homes in the hope of providing an education and future employment opportunities.
