Would you go to school if it meant travelling 12 hours each day?
This is the challenge faced by Indigenous students who live in remote parts of Arnhem Land.
MAF's "Flying School Bus" overcomes this obstacle, providing students of the Laynhapuy Homelands Schools ‘Secondary Homeland Education Program’ (SHEP) access to their education in just 30 minutes.
SHEP was created to allow students to complete their secondary school education in their traditional homeland environment.
Without MAF's "Flying School Bus" however, it’s very likely that most of these children would not complete their education at all.
We have been tasked with raising AUD$600,000 this EOFY to continue these education flights. Will you help us?
Your donation is tax deductible and will help fund the flight of Arnhem Land’s “Flying School Bus” in 2023 to close the distance, and impact generations to come.
Thank you for partnering with us in this ministry to practically serve First Nations communities in Arnhem Land.
