Worker Details

Mark grew up in Newcastle where he became a Christian at the age of 20. Having first worked as an accountant, Mark then served as a police officer in the Australian Federal Police for almost 15 years. Mark has 2 young children, Bethany (born 2010) and Samuel (born 2012).

A God-given heart to serve in cross-cultural mission led Mark to Sydney Missionary and Bible College in 2005. After completing Bible college, Mark, served in prison ministry in Fiji. In 2015, after returning from Fiji, Mark commenced working in the GRN Australia office.

Mark serves as GRN Australia's Manager of Promotions, Marketing and Volunteers. This role allows him to use his gifts and passion for mission to promote the work of GRN to mission agencies, missionaries and churches so they can use GRN resources to tell the story of Jesus to people in their heart language.

All GRN staff are missionaries who need prayer and financial support. While GRN pays a small living allowance, Mark requires financial support to provide the bulk of his family's monthly financial needs.
