Worker Details

Muana and Villy have been part of the team in Thailand since 2001. Their engagement with the community is through English teaching in government schools and programmes, participating in community events, having an open house and sharing their lives with the local people. Through these activities, opportunities arise to introduce people to Jesus.

They conduct Bible studies with two small groups; one in the city and the other in the rural area and continue to support the faith community in Baan Sa through monthly visits and preparing teaching resources for them. They also facilitate leadership training for the leaders of the faith communities. Muana also provides support and guidance to new staff in the language learning program and serves the Baptist Mission Australia Thailand intercultural team as their Leader.

“Our intention is to help develop a distinctively Thai faith community, which draws primarily on the richness of the Ethnic Thai culture, language and worldview to honour and serve Jesus. Life is a journey and we delight in seeing people choose Christ as their guide and companion.”

Muana and Villy have three beautiful girls – Yindii, Zoe and Libi.

They are seconded by the Baptist Churches of Mizoram (North East India) to work with Baptist Mission Australia.
