David, Eliza, Jude, Dustin and Caitlyn, have been serving among the K people of the Silk Road Area since 2015.
David and Eliza are involved in the lives of a growing circle of friends and neighbours, and are always looking for ways to connect deeply with K people. Their developing language skills are enabling them to grow in their ability to have deep spiritual conversations and share the message of Jesus in a way that makes sense to their K friends.
David has established a workshop and is exploring how to use his metal and woodworking skills, and farming experience to get alongside local men. Eliza is teaching English in their team’s language centre and building relationships with a small group of local women who have formed a new faith community. David and Eliza share the homeschool duties and, as a family, spend time with neighbours and friends in the street, participating in K cultural practices and family events. Jude, Dustin and Caitlyn play with their K neighbours in the playground space across the street from their house.
David and Eliza are passionate about sharing the Gospel with K people, and seeing vibrant faith communities sharing Jesus in their own distinctive ways.
