Did you know that only one Aboriginal language has the whole Bible translated? I am serving in the Top End of the Northern Territory to help give more Indigenous Australians access to God's Word.
My main focus is helping with the translation of the Plain English Version (PEV) - an English translation of the Bible designed for people who speak an Aboriginal language as their mother-tongue. It is used by those who do not yet have the Scriptures in their own language, or who meet with Christians from other language groups.
I also support Aboriginal translators in the Top End as they translate the Bible into their own languages and I plan to be trained as a translation consultant. Visit https://kathydadd.wixsite.com/wycliffe to read more about my experiences.
